To all the beautiful girls out there,

The term beauty cannot be measured on a scale or through some SI unit. Beauty is very subjective. And to all the beautiful girls out there “You” are one of a kind, you are just “One & the best version of yourself”. We live in a world where if you are fair and have some “Goray Goray gaal” you can be rated as so beautiful, like C’mon people get a life, this is not the way of measuring the intensity of beauty someone has. People Abroad die actually die for tan skin, they lie in sun baths, apply fake tan just, just to get the wheatish skin shade. Where we people actually with that skin color are commonly said “haye ye tou kitni kali hai”. Hello ladies just because I am dark doesn’t mean I m not beautiful. Not everyone fair is beautiful.

Beauty is a very vast term, and it does not only end at how “gori chitti” you are. The trend of wearing cakes of makeup on your face just to hide your skin shade is disgracing yourself. Be confident about what so ever skin shade or flaw you have. Not that i am saying that don’t wear makeup, wear it, I mean which girl on this planet doesn’t like makeup, ladies all of us do! but wear makeup to feel good about yourself not to hide behind it. Wear clothes of every color because every color should be loved equally, never in your life think I might look tan if I wear this flourecent shade or this bright yellow, wear every single color despite this discrimination and enjoy wearing it believe you will look prettier than you have ever imagined

Rumi says “Tear off the mask, your face is glorious”

I myself fall in the cadre of the people with that wheatish skin color, and trust me sometimes my friends even mock me for my skin shade, sometimes people go like oh your skin is getting so much tan use blah blah cream.. and this continues for ages. But trust me when I stopped listening to whatever they say I realized that I am more than just beautiful. Most importantly I am “ME”. Self realization is so important and trust me when you start believing that there is no better version of you, the day you stop comparing your self to these fantasized actresses and models, the day you realize that whatever you look like, whatever is your skin color it is made by God and God can never be wrong in his creation. You are beautiful and you should know this.

I believe that no matter how fair or dark, how much acne you have, how dry your skin is this is no ones elses problem so rather than listening to all these people telling you about how you look, tell yourself that YOU are beautiful. Believe that you are made specially by God and who ever has to like it will like it this way or that and “jis ko nahi pasand ye un ka masla hai “ . No matter what skin color you are, You are extremely pretty. Once again remember that you are really gorgeous the way you are. Love yourself.
